  1. I carry mine in the passenger seat of my truck, never in the bed
  2. I have the 100mph goretex full suit. I live in south louisiana and haven't been in weather that is uncomfortable for them yet. Only complaint is wrist cuffs have started ripping. Other than that I would recommend them to anyone.
  3. What is that softball down on the bottom left magic man?
  4. I run a fortrex on my pheonix and have zero complaints about it, awesome trolling motor
  5. I have lowrance hds 8 gen 2s on my current boat and I'm in the process of going back to humminbirds. I looked at the onix 10 si for a long time and decided to actually go with the helix 12 si
  6. On my buddy kevin boat it's happend twice, the boat is used in saltwater and Idk if that would have caused it, the time I was in the boat with him we were fishing in one of the lakes down here, not much current and the wind wasn't blowing that hard. We used a crescent wrench to raise them that day. The other boat was used only in freshwater and they would act like they were coming up and just stop about mid way up.
  7. I've been in 2 boats with talons and both of them got stuck in the down position and we had to raise them by hand
  8. If you didn't tie your palomar correctly it could have cut it self also
  9. Redfish are some of the dumbest fish out there, if you are around them they will eat
  10. I use decoy, no. 4 is the size I use I think. Gonna have to make sure when I get home.
  11. So what you're saying is texas bass love the 3:16?? Hahaha. Do you know when these will be up for sale?
  12. Back it in Louisiana, wish the bass liked the big swimbaits as much as these ducks liked the decoys haha
  13. The new BB2 inshore wide spool should be perfect for swimbaits
  14. Well that lake got named the "No. 1" in the country hahahaha
  15. Actually caught this on a "swimbait" (reaction innovations little dipper)
  16. Anybody else feeling the itch to shoot some ducks?? Early teal is right around the corner and starting to see them in the rice fields down here in SWLA
  17. I'm located in SW Louisiana (Calcasieu Lake/Sabine Lake) and I already throw the big spooks. I was specifically asking about the Slammer because that's not a style the fish see around here for sure. Dave I really enjoy seeing your post on the Flipside because after throwing SB around here for the last year for bass Idk if I'm gonna get the bass to eat them hahaha and I love catching big trout.
  18. I was wondering if anyone has thrown Slammer for Speckled trout. I would like to try it but don't know if the hardware would hang in the salt (rust and corrosion mainly). The big Bass bite has died off but the big Speck bite has picked up and I want to key in on those fat yellow mouths. Any advice would help.
  19. I like that they are gonna put out a smaller size, this will appeal to the bigger fish in smaller bodies of water like rivers where fish max out in the 3-5lbs range but also catch the 2 pounders and smaller needed to fill tournament bags.
