Thanks! yea some the best fishing in San Diego if u ask me numbers and size got couple fish over ten out of that river on a rigs in the short 3 months I fished it with a buddy, I won't go back tho not worth it guess I was lucky to have never had a problem the times I fished there from what the police said, that river is the river where I first witnessed bass busting in the hundreds and no exaggeration from one side of the shore to the other fish and bait everywhere jumping was like it was raining fish was incredible to witness but not one would bite that day. never seen one person fish there all the times I fished it though should have known it was too good to be true haha guess there was a reason no one fished there probably best u don't go there without a gun and still wouldn't go with one the way I was ambushed was lucky to have lived glad it was pitch black and they couldn't really aim good!

I've seen it here somewhere tried using the search button but couldn't find it anyone one have the colors that the mags come in was looking for the names of them so I put in right order for colors I want. if someone can help out wanting to know the color of the silver with green back and pink line running thru it and the purple one with red cheeks thanks maybe few others if anyone knows of some good colors out there

Was fishing at night on the San Diego river about 3 or 4 years ago and some random people tried shooting me and a buddy and I'm not talking one shot were talking two guns both unloaded very slowly at us so we hopped off the canoe and swam for our lives As shots kept flying inches away from my head had 4 bullets come within an inch of hitting my head felt them hit the waater with force. Had a long swim back to shore while being shot , was the night decided I'm no longer night fishing lol probably the craziest thing that I have seen while fishing

If I throw my deps 250 I use bass colored gets hit think it's more of a territorial thing in my experience seems once u find a nice size bass guarding a feeding area it will chase all other bass off so when u toss the 250 in bass they will actually hit it multiple times I have had as much as 5 hits from one fish that kept missing the hooks and yes they do have drawing power as well.

Hard gill for sure haven't used the bass but I have 2 fish over ten and it's a great numbers bait too! Always have one tied

Coo thanks guys appreciate it any idea on the areas in the delta they been running into em bigslant? Also since you fish the delta often curious have u been seeing more shad this year then previous years ? Thinking about launching out of Brannan island if they are around the Antioch area.

25lb lb cxx with the deps 175 on a xh east county bait and tackle rod a seal grabbed it and was still able to get it back from him took a slingshot and a lil finessin I have only lost one deps so far to a dodo you

Deps 175 in blue back herring slays the dorado and yellow tail in SoCal one my favorite things to do I used a curado 300 been fine for me up to 40 lb yellows My gear did fine just can't pull on em too hard
