    For me the biggest reason to have the silencers on is to keep the bait from beating itself up. Even with silencers mothers get torn up from just fishing them but i think the silencers protect the joint from getting banged up. If you still have one of your silencers you can cut it up and use it on both sides.

    I was under the impression that the rounded nose made it an OG vs the bumpy nosed newer version. I did purchase this one from black dog website i think 2 years ago. I don't want to misrepresent the lure so here is a pic next to newer version to compare. I have 2 of the fire trouts next to a rainbow newer version. I'm going through pm's now.

    Hey SU I'm looking to trade an 8" OG Lunker Punker in Fire Trout and a New Style Deps 250 in Ghost Ayu. Both baits are new and never tied on and I'll ship them with their boxes. I'm looking for a slow sink Phoney Frog with purple back to replace one i lost to a fish or possibly a Battles Trout. I'll entertain other offers as well just PM me.

    I placed my order 3/20 and received my 2 i ordered on 8/ 17. I did order one ss and one xss. Finally got out for the first time today with them. Hooked into a giant today against a bluff wall early in the morning and she shredded 25lb pline against a rock and broke me off. Fff#####@@@cckk!!! There went my ss one. . The lure seems to swim best with a slow to moderate retrieve with pauses, seems like it twirls and washes out with too much work on your end. (Only a few hours spent fishing the lures though). Jason always answered my emails quickly and when my lures got shipped to my old address he was on top of tracking them down and getting them to me. I had a positive experience with him and will place more orders with him even if it takes awhile he doesn't collect money until the lures are ready. Overall I'd give the lure and Jason a thumbs up!

    At least you're acknowledging the mistake and apologizing, I'm assuming you're still young and learning about life so i just hope you've learned a lesson. As a middle aged guy (geez how did that happen? ) It makes no sense to me what you gain from lying to kick it with an online forum but young people are growing up in a different kind of world than i grew up in (before the internet).
