  1. I put super glue on the hook rash or chips. This seals it. I use a special glue from Japan.
  2. Two completely different baits. Both work well. My mother required maintenance after each time I fished it.I like to fish the Hinkle slow / medium retrieve.... my mother I can work it faster if I need to trigger the fish. Since not all wood is the same, some mothers swim better than others. I have more fish on my Hinkle.
  3. I appreciate the input. I was thinking of just going with a production rod as well. I am very particular on my rod specks and I have been waiting a year for this particular rod, I opted to wait. I have waited this long. Moving forward, I would like some better communication regarding the progress and eta .
  4. Has any one ordered a rod from LDC as of last year? The reason I ask is because I placed an order last Feb and have heard very little to nothing about my order. I am wondering if it’s just my luck or is others experiencing this. Ben did communicate ONCE that due to Covid supplies are hard to get. That was at the beginning of the summer.....
  5. 86 Gill glide .. or 3:16 Gill if you can get your hands on one .
  6. White or black wcz with blade and nail weights
  7. Last word I got was Ken was sick. It’s understandable, but better communication with those that order years ago would help.
  8. Yayyyyy... still haven’t received my hud top water... At this point I invested too much time.
  9. I’ll buy the two white and no silver
  10. I appreciate you broski. Thanks for even looking.
  11. I feel you man. I do hope someone can return the bait. I will pay money for it. It’s going to be a super dope find nevertheless.
  12. I had my OG punker connected to braid. I used this connection ( 55 lbs braid to 30 co-ploy). I have caught big yellowtails with the same braid / co-poly). As I casted out from a point ( from the shore at Castaic west shore), I heard the unfortunate “snap.” My knot didn’t brake, but it snapped mid body. The braid broke. As I stood there in disbelief, I saw my Punker bobbing it’s head in the water. Never again. I will fish straight P line as my boy Eddie told me about. If anyone happens to see a punker in the water with white hooks and feather please contact me. I will pay money for my lost bait. I have hooked up tons of fish on it. I am super sad, but that’s the swimbait game. Lonely life. This is my way of venting. My swimbaits are my PTDS therapy tool. I hope my unfortunate experience prevents someone from losing their favorite bait.
  13. Did all of that... then the payment portion slowed down and I knew I was done
