  1. Last winter I didn't catch any swimbait fish over a 3-4 month span, I don't even want to think about how many baits I lost.
  2. I'll be there, was bummed I didn't make it last year.
  3. Looking for any alphas that are available. painted/unpainted, weighted/weightless pm with info on what you have. Thanks SU.
  4. And then changes it to swimbait junkie....
  5. They get bit. Can't argue with the price either.
  6. ^ sold out for a long time now. I think you have to order direct from Huddleston at the moment.
  7. Looking to swap out the power handle on my Lexa 400 to a paddle, let me know if you have one laying around. Thanks
  8. The Slammer has landed in California! Took it out to Dixon today, fished from about 11-5 with no love. Did get some quality fish to follow it while slow waking over grass, going to check back on those spots in a couple days before I ship her out to the next member.
  9. This bait is getting beat to death!!! Good job Wayne, slayin it!
  10. Just got tickets for October 1st. Can't wait, should be some good fishing,
  11. Wished I would've seen this thread, I sent him an Abu in early April and he hasn't been responding in months. Gave me the run around for a while then just fell off the map. Kinda lucky cause I was going to send him 3-5 reels I need work on because there was such good reviews about him, but WTF? How many reels is he sitting on right now? How many reels has he flipped? What a joke.
  12. Killin it! Solid slammer fish man. Leave some wood for the rest of us? Hahaha
  13. You'll be fine on the average yellows and rats. The slugs might ruin your day, but hey its all in the name of fun right? Lol. I've got em on a lexa 400 and a daiwa dxsb xh, nothing huge but it was a ton of fun. They'll eat swimbaits, but you should definitely pick yourself up some Tady 45s and Salas 7xs. Yellows on the surface jigs is the bee knees.
  14. I've never had any problems with the ones I have, they get bit but I have better glides to throw now. Like everyone else has said, good bait for the price. They are in high supply and there are better baits on the market, that's why you see a lot being sold.
  15. 3 inch big hammers in Newport Harbor murder spotties, not a very accessible harbor for anglers though, Dana Point harbor has been on fire though. A ton of anchovies recently moved in and there's calico bass crashing everywhere in the mornings. Dana harbor is super accessible for anglers and theres a lot of fish stacked along the rocks. I had a 40 fish day before work on 2 inch big hammers. Spotted bay bass, sand bass, calico bass and even a smelt! Lol. If you can get on a boat and fish the kelp even better, me and a buddy slayed calicos in the 3-6lb range at sunset on 7 inch weedless baits last night on his skiff, the bite was unreal!
  16. Sheeeeeesh. To say you're dialed is an understatement. Been on fire for a long time, keep it rolling.
  17. I use 7:1 all the time. You can slow down easier than speed up. That's a tempting deal...
  18. Dobyns Fury 795, it's been the best mag top water rod I've owned.
