I know neither one is an ideal swimbait reel. But I have to choose between a core 100 or a scorpion dc7. Just using existing equipment to get my first swimbait setup together. And I'm not gonna be throwing any baits bigger than a deps 175.

Shop I got mine at was only out of rt bluegill, spawn gill, and ghost gill in DFW.

Thank you for the advice! He seemed to be really into swimbait fishing and I figured it was a decent collection. I have just never used them.

Just found this forum and am new to swimbait fishing in general. I inherited a hard body swimbait collection from a friend giving it up. But don't know if what I got is any good. Just looking for people's opinions who might be familar with the baits.
