  1. Here in South Africa, hollow bodies, hardbaits and softbaits of 4" up, imitating the natural swimming motion of a forage species, are most definitely considered swimbaits.
  2. Has anybody fished the St. Croix Mojo Bass Swimbait rod? Thoughts?
  3. Hi Fellas! I’m in my early 30’s and live in the east of South Africa. Yes… we do have bass here in our part of the world, and some pretty decent bass at that! Over here swimbait fishing isn’t very popular. People look at you curiously when you even mention the idea. Plus, swimbaits are hard to come by, except the more mainstream brands like SPRO BBZs. But trust me, we get more than our fair share of fish in the 5 to 9 pound range coming out, so I’m convinced swimbait fishing can be the next big thing out here. I’m keen to find out if there are any other South African SU members on here, and I’m eager to pick up as much knowhow from all you experienced anglers as possible. See you around. Cheers, Mike
