this is just the stash in the garage

I got one and have thrown it a couple times. It's a lot bigger than the standard size gantarel. I agree with bigpoppa it is a tad bit intimidating to size up to it when the smaller version works so well. I'm sure it will get bit at the right place at the right time.

solid guy. Good communication easy transaction got my bait as described

My first slammer was a 7 inch. Then I got a 9 and stopped throwing the 7. That being said I did catch a TON of fish on the 7 of all sizes. The 9 will weed out some of the smaller fish sometimes.

Seeing as everyone else is making rats lately so I thought I would give one a try. Here's the finished product

I've had very similar issues so far. Been throwing the 3:16 minnow and riding some dinks. My biggest fish this year is probably 3.5, definitely not boosting my confidence haha. I keep questioning myself on what has been different this year than last year. 1 the weather has been much colder and rainy. 2 Water levels were very very low at the end of last season and they are higher than normal now. I could be completely wrong but it's just what I keep telling myself. I'm also having the bait switching problem it's been hard t stick with one when none of them are getting any action.

Went out to a new spot last night in the yak threw the 3:16 minnow for a bit with no luck. Switched to my trusty gantarel still no luck. Swapped out to one of my baits that I've been working on tossed up next to a weed line started with a little wake then dipped it just below the surface annnndd sluuurp there's the fish! Stoked to get my first fish on this bait can't wait to see how it does the rest of the season. Bait is just a little larger than a 9 inch slammer, wakes and dives to about 6-7 feet depending on retrieve and how far out there you bomb it on the cast.

Haha he would like to think it's his guide service but I picked the pond to fish. I'm not sure who turned the heat up around here but it's definitely helping. Lux you do spy a feel free I just picked it up this spring liking it so far.

Went out last night in the yaks with Trevor to a spot we havnt hit to much yet this year. Started throwing with a melosh gill and the 3:16 minnow with only a few small hits on the minnow and not even a follow on the gill. Throw on the perch wake jr and got a solid fish on it but dumped it in some pads. Had a second fish blow up on it but this fish last spit the hooks after a few seconds of fighting. 3rd blow up under a low hanging tree I was able to pull one all the way to the yak. Great night of fishing seeming like things are finally starting to wake up around here.

I have the smaller one I love it. Wouldn't mind another one if another batch came out...

The only soft style swimbait I've had luck with so far is the 3:16 minnow.
