  1. Sounds good man. I catch plenty of big peacock bass in South Florida and you are correct they are very powerful for their size. Much stronger pound for pound than any largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, or muskellunge. Keep up the good work and post more of those beauties!
  2. Congratulations, that's a beautiful peacock bass. Fishing in the Amazon for giant peacock bass and other exotics is on my bucket list and I will plan a trip there in the future.
  3. Nice striped bass, thank you for posting them.
  4. Very nice, the guy that painted this swimbait has some good talent. Does it swim as good as it looks? If it does it would be a very good swimbait.
  5. I wont be surprised one bit if the striped bass fishermen do this with good results. Probably catch trophy largemouth bass as bycatch while fishing this way.
  6. Well said. The Slammer simply catches lots of big bass and it isn't overpriced like a lot of swimbaits in the market.
  7. I throw the same baits in the winter that I throw in the summer.

    Bowfin

27 inches long is a very nice bowfin. A 28 inch or better bowfin is a citation sized one in Florida and anything over 30 inches is a trophy sized one anywhere bowfin are found.
  10. You are welcome. Other good lures are paddletails, glidebaits, spinnerbaits, bucktails, and crankbaits. Muskie fishing is extremely fun and there's a good chance you will become addicted to chasing this fish once you catch your first. I have made 2 trips up north in less than a year for muskies, have caught muskies on each trip. Plan on making my third trip up north by the end of this year.
  11. Bring a couple wakebaits, Muskies like them.
