SUB Tournament Januaryt 12th to 18th You must sign up in this thread before the tournament starts on the 12th at 0600 or your fish will not count Please read and follow all the rules. Biggest fish wins the tournament Fish must be legitimately caught with a swimbait. Cast and retrieve only, no bed fishing. Pictures must include: the swimbait used picture of the entire fish on a digital scale ONLY picture of the entire fish on a measuring board A secret code will be released at 0600 PST the first day of the tournament. The code needs to be visible in the picture. Pictures must be posted before the end of the tournament. Fish anytime and anywhere between the tourney dates. Once an angler wins a monthly tournament, they are out till the Battle. New weights by state. You must have your state on the scale or in your profile so other participants can see it These rules can change depending on future situations but NOT during the tournament. Tournament will end at 12:00PM (NOON) on the last day of the tournament Failure to comply with the rules will disqualify your fish.

For every monthly SUB and Battle the SU Crew takes a look at all entries submitted. In some cases it is easy for us to validate the fish and in others it is difficult. In addition to the Crew we also send entries to 8-10 well respected members of the Swimbait Community (both forum members and not). When it comes to documenting your catches we encourage you to shoot as many photos as you can and when possible video of the weight. The more photos and angles you have the easier it is for us to validate a catch. In a perfect world we would require all entries to have full Cast 2 Catch but we know a good number of our members are on shore and C2C is not possible. One that make it easier on us is a straight down shot of the fish on the board with the top lip as close to 0 as possible. Some prefer to close the mouth but that usually requires a second person to take the photo as you hold it. Example below If you are ever questioning if you have enough pics or videos, just take more. The SUB Tournaments for the 2023-2024 schedule will follow the moon phases. The 2022-2023 schedule is as follows: November 17th - 23rd December 15th - 22nd January 12th - 18th February 9th -15th March 8th - 14th April 5th - 11th May 10th - 16th June 7th - 13th July 5th - 11th August 9th - 15th September 6th - 12th October 4th - 10th Battle for the Underground October 25th - 31st Wild card qualification: you must not be the winner of that months SUB tournament and meet one of the following conditions submit a bass over 10 lbs be within 8 oz of the winning submission maximum 1 wild card slot per month Dates and handicaps are subject to change at administrative teams discretion VIDEO WEIGHING THE FISH IS NO LONGER REQUIRED (however, it is highly recommended in order to prevent any doubt)
