  1. Their main forage is a fish called the tui chub but they eat eachither as well. They're not your typical bug slurping stockers
  2. MaxDistance....yes. It's not as uncommon as one might think. These aren't your typical trout, either. There are the biggest cutthroats in the world
  3. Pyramid Lake, Nevada. It's in a Paiute Indian Reservation like 45 minutes from Reno. The majority of the time, the fish are at or near the bottom. Last time I was there, I was stripping small white wooly buggers along the bottom and did really well.
  4. I actually ended up just deciding to go with the six inch and the rof12 is the fastest sinking so that's what I ordered. But, what about rigging it? Should I leave it as is with the jig hook or should I add a stinger? I feel like a stinger would be good considering I'm fishing for trout and not largemouth bass with huge bucket mouths. There are some big trout there but I don't want to have to rely on them taking the whole thing.
  5. I'm going to Pyramid Lake over spring break and I'm not sure which hudd to get for the trip, the rod 12 or 16?? I think I'll most likely be fishing from 10-20ft for the most part. I think I got all my fish at like 12ft last time. I want to fish them with a fairly fast retrieve so which one would work best? The 16 would most likely run better at the higher speeds right?

    Carp?!

I think corn is the way to go for carp
  7. By heavy I mean the baitcaster not the lure
  8. Haha I would throw it on my baitcaster if it wasn't so heavy
  9. Thanks, guys. How do I delete the other post that's identical to this? Somehow I double posted.

  11. I did some late night fishing last night. I threw all kinds of jerk baits for a couple hours and got nothing. Then I decided to throw a small river2sea s-waver. I ended up getting two walleye that were 18 inches or so. Not bigguns but it was still cool. I definitely like the s wavers and for multiple species.

  15. Maybe I'm wrong but it looks like you're tubing finless. I would definitely get some good fins. It makes a world of difference
  16. I've never had any issues with them. I love TW
  17. They're pretty popular as far as I can tell, man. I have a could of the smaller ones and love Em. I def want a big one too
  18. The bbz1s in mackerel and sardine would probably be money.
  19. Awesome, dude! Just got my first fish on the bbz rat as well. It's some have fun to fish. Got the same color as well, not because I thought it'd appeal more to fish but because I liked it haha
