i have a couple LDC ML. i dont fish any conventional but here are the baits i do use on them to give you an idea of the weight range i like. 86 Glide, DRT TK, WCZ Citizen 6. Hope that helps.

My Pulse has been the best rod ive used for the K9. Ive heard that the R2 is more parabolic. couldnt tell you for sure. only a few guys that have both. You should point your question to @gtw7983. He has both.

man kind of a loaded question. to be honest I don't think there is a right answer to fishing it. Every body of water is different and the fish are different. I can fish two lake that are miles apart and they just set up different. I definitely think there are better way to fish them. For me the Citizen is a year round bait. you can throw it in thick cover and bounce it around the bottom. I think the important thing is to focus your time in those high percentage area, areas you know hold fish. But nothing can replace time on the water. I use 8/0 beast hook and tungsten pin to weight it depending on how deep I like to fish it. as far as color I just stick to Silver. I know its not much help but its hard to tell you how to fish something unless I've fished it on your lake.

if your looking for something to do something very specific, custom is the way to go. If your looking for fast turnaround Nameless has a pretty good turnaround. LDC is another route. the White Lables are nice. For me I like fishing it on a Fast or even extra fast action so I can drive home the beast hook. if you don't mind waiting a year or so go custom LDC. Just my opinion

That’s all preference. I have both Conquest 200 dc and the Antares DC MD. I use them for two very different things. Not a huge fan round reels, but the conquest 200 is pretty small. Of course a reel that is solid metal is gonna reel more robust than a reel that has some plastic on it. But internally the Antares MD is a beast. But that’s just my opinion.
