  1. I've had good luck on savage 3d trout. Not one of the glamorous baits. And even down on the list for me but I've got one that just seems to smash the big girls.
  2. We drove a few hours to a lake in east tx to fish this morning. I came in for lunch to check in to the cabin on the water. On my way back out to fish we got HAMMERED by a massive fkn thunder storm. He's stuck out there. In all seriousness. This dude is getting freakin pounded right now. Hella rain and lightning
  3. yeah pretty much a rising son knock off its got a belly slot. It's from a small local company called smashtech. They've got some pretty good baits imop.
  4. I use custom angle rods built for me off a lamiglass blank. I'm very happy with it. I'll see if it's the same as the x11 or different.
  5. Dude I'm just half ass trolling. You prolly can't fathom the immensity of the f*#k I do not give about your lie. It's no big deal man were just a bunch of dudes that belong to a forum that catch little green fish... I doubt anyone will lose sleep. I learned somewhere Not to take other people's inventory. Props for comming clean
  6. I would like to apologize to the Swimbait Underground members for my dishonesty. My PB is 7.17, I don't believe Harrison
  7. man from my understanding it's the same as you would have paid entry and launch fees anyway they're just making reservations To eliminate massive crowds the hype is huge I hope it lives up. Ill likely tow out there when I can get a whole week reserved and stay with either my best friend in canyon lake or my parents in El centro. But yeah paying to fish is kind of lame. That's un heard of here
  8. Public to private transplant is 100% legal in Tx. With no permits required. Chances of transplanting a sick fish are very low if done correctly. I'm neutral I'd do it if I thought it would benefit the small lake. I'd cull every dink and try to boost forage population. New genes into an old pond can be benefiting. How yall think bass made it west of the Mississippi drainage? Yeah every state in the western half was introduced with the lmb opening up a can of worms that we have now specifically in California.
  9. Bfs. Pitchin/skipping docks and heavy cover, any top water, and dragging a c rig. People really wince when they hear c rig.
  10. I wear 7 dollar last years hurley t shirts from ross that never made it to Dillards , 20 dollar Levis from the outlet.
  11. Fwd: http://sdfish.com/freshwater/san-vicentes-opening-date-set/
  12. man I would think so if you can aquire a reservation. I'm not sure if san v. Is a no body contact lake. And if they allow yaks in no body contact lakes.
  13. Reservations go on sale tomorrow. They're gonna operate similar to barrett until the hype dies down to my understanding.
  14. It's about to happen. I'll see you there. This is not a drill. Get pumped fellas. I damn sure am.
  15. would running 2 split rings on each treble work equally as well?
  16. I'm on my 3rd and 2 more comming they're 2 American shad ,one of which came out of a golden shiner batch, and one grey shad. Sink rates on all 3 are practically the same. Glides are almost the same but so close its taken me lots of hours of fishing to distinguish how they act individually. But id say they're much more consistent bait to bait then say 250s which I've had 6 or 7 and they're all quite noticeably different. Wind, current, line , rod , all have a bearing on glides.
  17. Cause it's not cool to catch bass on cheap swimbaits that don't cost over 150 bucks. Were a materialistic bunch at times.
  18. Yeah Im definetly not bringing any hinkles or deps. Was thinking cheaper stuff like savage gear and big hammers. Spros slt. For bass fishing I've pretty much narrowed my baits down to 2 or 3 glides 2 and 3 soft baits and a few jointed hard baits. But I've got a pile of baits that I'll prolly never prefer over my go tos.
