  3. Okuma Guide Select is a solid rod. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Okuma_Guide_Select_a_Series_Swimbait_Casting_Rods/descpage-OGSA.html
  4. I found both on here. Just picked up the gill 30min ago and couldn't wait to put them together haha. My only 3:16's and my only lures in general I own over $50. I'm just beginning
  5. Couple of 3:16's!! Slowly building them up!!
  6. Thank you guys for the input! I was thinking of putting a hook in this same exact location. Rof 5 or 0
  7. I'm fairly new to swimbait fishing and recently got my first order in from TW. I have 2 8inch hudds that I would like to add a treble hook to the bottom of them. I know there's videos online that show you how to do it but before I go and buy the supplies needed I figured I'd ask if there's someone close by that already has the supplies needed and wanted a few extra bucks. I live in Woburn which is about 15min north of Boston but will drive up to an hour away to get it done if needed. I will be in Acushnet MA this Sunday picking up a puppy so if anyone is out that way and is able to do it on Sunday around 2, I'm open to that also. My cell is 781-603-7685 Pat. Thank You.
  8. Is anyone here familiar with SpoolTek Lures? Its kind of a similar idea as Savage Gear where as you hook a fish and the weight of the bait isn't in the fish's mouth. Here's a ink of how they have it setup. * No outside links*
  9. Have you guys ever tried SpoolTek Lures? Kind of a similar idea as Savage Gear where as you hook a fish and the weigh of the bait isn't in the fish's mouth. Here's a ink of how they have it. http://spoolteklures.com/about-us/how-it-works/
  10. Thank you guys for all the great input. BigSlant, Both of those Abu reels are sweet! Both the Revo Beast and the Nacl 50!! Now my decision is between those two instead of the Lexa 300!!!
  11. Thank you guys for the info! I just looked up that Curado, seems like a nice rod with good reviews however I'm not sure if I can get over that green color so I'm still leaning towards the Daiwa Lexa 300 for the H rod. I just hope it's not too much reel for that rod lol Any other suggestions on a reel for the Heavy model Okuma?
  12. Will 8 inch BBZ's and 9 inch slammers be too much for the H?
  13. I'm looking to order the Okuma Guide Select A Series in Heavy and Extra Heavy. I think stuff like 4-6 inch hudds, BBZ's etc on the Heavy rod should be good and 8inch hudds, BBZ's, 3:16's, 9 inch slammers etc on the Extra Heavy rod. However, I'm new to swimbait fishing and im just going off of things I've seen online. Do you guys think the XH rod will be good for those baits or is the XXH worth getting instead. Also if you can give any input on what reels to put on the 2 rods I would appreciate it. I'm thinking a Daiwa Lexa 300 on the XH and no idea yet for the H but again I'm just going by reviews online. Thanks again!
  14. How can I order Tsunamis? If I can't find a Pats then I'll try those instead along with the slammer
  15. My first TW order!! Having another one next week with a few BBZ and Deps. Any other suggestions?
  16. Tackle Warehouse doesn't have these in stock at the moment. Can anyone reccomend another secure online store that may have them? I'm looking to get a H and XH models with a Daiwa Lexa 300 for the XH and still deciding what reel to put on the H one.... Any ideas? Thanks!!
