Caught my first bass on a freestyle ss gill light belly a few days ago a little guy maybe 2 and some. It's a different rush. I like it. I just bought my first swimbait set up a Dobyns Fury and a shimano cardiff 300 to start. I been reading a lot on SU and I bought what it looks to be the starter lures. To many but oh well I'm hooked. Ms slammer 7 perch, hud 68 perch, mattlures rat, hard gill male, triple trout perch, gan craft 178 perch, 3:16 wake jr. lit up bass. Thanks for the help guys it looks like I'm on the right track except I think I got to exited buying baits.

I had a bad experience with TW but i got over it. I have spend a few thousand there since. On a random Sunday a few years back they had a secret 20% off Shimano reels. I bought the antares 100 when I recieved the reel the box was open and finger prints all over the reel. I was upset cause I bought the reel new not open box item. I send the reel back and they told me I was going to received a new one. They send me the same reel back 2 more times. The manager told me well didn't you get a good price on the reel? There"s nothing wrong with the reel the reason it was open and had finger prints all over is because we inspect the reels before shipping. Yeah right. I was mad but I kept the reel and got over it. Love the selection and the sales are hard to beat. It sucks when you have a bad experience with your favorite fishing store.
