that is awesome! nice fish!

I've had luck with slammers up until November (Maine). Slow waking did the trick for me. Was fishing a tidal river in Maine during the morning hours when I had the most luck.

Hey everyone,
Going to be in Santa Monica and San Fran next week and was wondering if anyone has suggestions on some good local tackle shops I could check out while I'm there?
Thanks!

I fished mine the other day and at super slow speeds the tail did not kick that much. At a medium speed it seemed to work well and I had one fish follow. Water is still in the high 30s - low 40s so maybe a couple more weeks and it will do better. Agree about the sink rate!

throwing mine for the first time tomorrow - I'll let you know what I think

I have the 300HD and really like it. It's built well and the drag is awesome. That said, can't go wrong with Shimano.

Went to the Belgrade area this weekend and was happy to see open water! Haven't seen that up north in a long time

"brownish eyes that Mike bought from a gypsy in 2011." This sound like a story I would love to hear haha!

Hands down favorite bait I own. Slow retrieve at night usually does the trick.

Thanks! Just picked one up to see how it works - if only this blizzard would stop so I can actually use it. Mother Nature's been a real "Not Allowed" lately for New England.

Anyone have luck with this yet? Doing some shopping this weekend since mother nature blessed us with more snow and ice and wondering if I should pick one up.
Thanks guys!

Hey everyone,
Looking to see who has open water in NE after this warm spell hit - ponds are just starting to clear up around me (MA)
Thanks!

Open water near me (Northshore MA) but with the snow tonight it could ice over. Hoping for some warmer weather this weekend to test some new baits.

Only have a few swimbaits so far but I tend to take all of them and end up only throwing 1 or 2. Usually favor the slammer or baby wake.

I have te 300 HD Lexa and love it - holds a ton of line and has all the power one would need. Pairs great with the Megabass Levante Leviathan.
