ok i retie everytime i go out when im using floro or mono just becuse it puts a kink in the line from the top eyelet. I retie when I feel any abrasions. my question is do you guys re-tie with braid as often? I don't notice a kink in the line... also If I go braid to leader and leader is not touched by the eyelet when the rod is not being used do I need to put a new leader on and remover the portion of braid that was potentially kinked while not being used ?

Mark I did a 175 and there was only weight in the front portion. assuming the same for the 250 but I have not done one.

youtube has a Matt allen video on cutting open a hudd and gluing the harness and bait together. I would look at that video. cut it open do the repair and mend it back together. good luck.
