    What size fish are people catching on these snaps? I am not concerned about a 7 or 8 bending my snap out. I won't be thrilled if I lose one but I've caught plenty of fish in that range. What I want to be prepared for is a teener. That is the one I am afraid of failure on. Is anyone catching big stripers or salt water fish on these snaps?

    Looking for rods to throw Deps 250 on and Hudds on. Would like two different rods. Dobyns 867 and 807 preferred Also I could use another dobyns 806 if the price is right. However if someone has a something comparable they are looking to unload I will consider them. They don't have to be pristine but I don't want one with busted guides etc. Thank you in advance.

    This is a winner also. The Little creeper sunfish is killer also imo. Not durable for the $ but will get bit.

    316 minnow can be rigged weedless, will thump enough and you can get a sexy shad like color (I think mickey calls it chatreuse shad) which will mimic the bleak very nicely. Mattlures soft gill and hard gill in pumpkin would work very well. Keitechs on a swim jig will get you bit a whole lot also. Dirty jigs makes a great swim jig and lots of color options.

    I am a big fan of the hitch x also. That bait doesn't get nearly enough love imo. I have a few of them. Caught a 7 lbr a couple of weeks ago on one.

    I agree with you in principle. I pay my taxes according to the law. I own my own business and could dodge a lot of it. I don't because it doesn't sit well with my personal moral code despite my belief that my tax burden is a bit unfair. Also I don't want to go to jail. HOWEVER, most big businesses work very hard to avoid paying their fair share of taxes and they escape it a lot of the time. They are also rarely punished. If a small business owner feels he can get away with it and rest well at night doing it. Who am I to judge? He isn't doing anything that Apple, Exxon, or Haliburton aren't doing.

    These guys are trying to make some money. They are following the same capitalistic rules any other company with any business sense follows. Take advantage of the hot market. Create hype. Take advantage of trends. Maximize profits. Avoid tax penalty buy selling them "2nd hand". Etc etc etc. I don't blame them. It makes sense. They should continue it as long as the demand is there. No one should be complaining about how these guys run their business. If you don't agree with them ignore them and their products imo.
