  1. Looks like fisheyes.. they happen after clearcoat settles. Since working on cars, sometimes the body work underneath has almost undetectable pinholes, and they don't show until it's too late. The bait mold may have had some air bubbles when it set? Not much you can do about them, other than dabbing in clear and wet sanding and buffing smooth.. Lots of work for a bait that I'm thinking will get used a ton anyway ^^^

  2. Mickey and Rina are always awesome.

Hope you catch a pig soon.....the water is very hot, slowwwwww it down.

Crazy hot. Fished yesterday after a rainstorm and tied on a brush hog.. didn't realize how slow I needed to be dragging it until a 3lber hit when I was messing with the trolling motor, not paying attention

  3. Have to share this. After a long summer of tiring work in 90 degree weather, that combined with higher priorities forced fishing to be last on my list. Got a few baits here and there and a setup, but lots of what I ordered is still on backorder from TW.. Ordered from 3:16 the other day and after an awful day today came home to this... I only ordered the 3 mission fish. I'm sure y'all can agree that this company is awesome.. sharing Christ's love through a small order. Serious thank you to 3:16 Lure Co.. First swimbait session happnening this weekend..

    Thanks for listening

  4. i had someone recommend WD-40 or brake fluid

i am looking to remove old flaking, tooth removed paint completely from soft baits that are not dyed

Try mineral spirits or laquer thinner. If the paint on soft baits isn't catalyzed, it should wipe right off with eiether of the two. Just depends on what the paint base is composed of.

  5. Scrolling through Down Time and saw the thread about boats... Thought this might be cool to share. As of now, I am fishing out of a Tarpon 120, but am SO over yak fishing limitations (wind, stamina, a numb butt, missed hook sets, etc). Been contemplating a little bass tracker or jon boat, watching Craigslist, but, this boat needed a home and was free.. I have huge plans and am very excited to transform my very own boat.. Will post as I go.. would love suggestions about what y'all have done to smaller boats that make them awesome.. Here she is, untouched.

  6. Inches and ounces are a lil different

    Can't go wrong with a dobyns 806..

Irod large swimbait but that shorty handle designated it as a punker rod for me..people like the okuma guide select heavy..and I hear good things aboutout the dobyns fury 795..

I'm an Abu Garcia guy so imma say revo big shooter..but I'm willing to bet you have small hands so I'd go with the big shooter compact...

    All my opinions and preferences

    Thanks!  :-D
