What do you mean by the cadence? I was basically dredging it off the bottom, and slow rolling it. Occasionally I would burn it back.

We have a few reservoirs up here that hold some BIG trout. I haven't caught any trout on a swimbait yet, but I have brought up a 24+" right up to my canoe with a large 6" rainbow bait. A friend and I have been thinking about getting after some browns when the kokanee start moving up into the river.

Is there any way to tune the S Waver? I bought one second hand and cant seem to get it to glide right. It was cheap, so I would be surprised if that's why lol.

This is my first year fishing large swimbaits. Earlier this year, I caught a few decent fish on a Mattlures east coast series Norther Perch. Last night, I decided to throw the Hudd 68 for a while. I don't have a swimbait rod yet, so the Champion 734 had to handle that chore lol. I landed 2 and lost 2 at the boat, lost the bigger fish (boat flipping isn't as easy as jig fishing). Biggest was close to 3 lbs. Cant wait for the next trip.
