I'm in Indiana too. Most of my luck this summer has come off a 316 freestyle shad floater. If you can find one, buy it. Its a little 6 inch multi-jointed bait and the fish love it. I've also had some luck on glide baits. I haven't caught any really big fish which is disappointing as last summer was by far the best swim bait season I've ever had, numbers and size.
