I was just trying to spark a lil drama. I have a rapala digital scale. The real DD weighed 10.1 on it. Plus we weighed it on my freinds spring scale and it also weighed 10.1 The last fish weighed 6 on the scale, yall can believe me or not

Ugh The Game is up. It weighed around 6. I was just messing to see if anybody would believe me.

Was fishing a 68 special butch rigged in a super clear lake with huge trout and decent bass in it. Felt a good bite, set hook. Destroyed my hudd, mend it to the rescue. One of my coolest catches took me a good 3 minutes to reel it in, it shredded my leader.

Lol a DD was the most unlikely thing ever in Indiana. I see where you are coming from. Normally in the spawn I catch bigger tho. And it was stocked with 5 pound bass and trout. I caught a big trout on a hudd a while back. I'm just spoiled because I go for the 2 biggest fish in the lake. Thanks for the commet

Got my first 8 inch hudd a while back, way more drawing power than a 6 or a 68. Thing smashed it as I slow rolled it. She was super pregnant, 6.8. Sadly that is one of my bigger bass this year. I would like to get another DD this year as one of my lakes has been recently stocked with trout and 5 pounders.

Normally I fish in Indiana, but we were on vacation in Florida. I had heard about monster swimbait fish on Okeechobee, so I packed some weedless baits and bought some huge baits that I could never fish in Indy. 8-inch hudd in black shad, ROF 0 but I put some nail weights in it so it would ride inches below the surface. We rented a boat and went out. For the first part of the day, I had no clue what to look for. I figured out that the bass hide under the matts and wait to ambush shiner and shad. Paralleled along a mat that has access to a small drop off. My hudd rod had came the week before. (By the way if you ever see one buy it fast. The thing is sick.) It cast that bait like a dream. Anyway, back to the cast. I felt a small tap and then my line stopped. Bang, hook set, right in the top of the mouth. I've caught bigger in Indiana, but this one was one of my most special fish. It was one of my first fish I'd caught on a lake, I normally fish small lakes and ponds from shore or a yak. What a day.

Filthy bro. Nice fish, the more you throw the big baits the bigger the fish will get. Nice one!
