Also this may be a dumb question. am I supposed to tie to the eyelet on the wire? Or the eyelet on the bait?

I think I'm ready to try out one of these tyrants. I Rigged mine to float, I just need to add some weights when I get on the water. Instead of using a hot knife I used mend it to cover the hole where the bubble material went. Aside from that I followed Mike Gilbert's vids. Hopefully I can catch a nice one on it.
