    First of all I appreciate your responses. On the fp I have figured out how to stop the spin. Eyes behind the wings top forward just a bit. I am able to fish it at a fairly good clip that way and it is stable. The fpj however is a bit of a different beast. I noticed that the wings are bent a bit more making them less than 90 degrees to the front of the bait. Hazarding a guess I would say somewhere in the 75-80 degree range. I will try to bend them to 90 and see if that yields better results. Aside from that I have tried having the eyes tilted the same way as well as a bit more extreme and even with the bottom forward which is just god awful and makes it swim upside down primarily. The saga continues with the fpj.
