What up everybody, I'm new to SU and to big bait fishing. Finally caught one on a 316 swimbait I got off another member(even tho it was a baby wake)this morning, still a good time. I was stoked to catch a fish and to end a swimbait skunk marathon. Hopefully I can actually catch a bigger fish on an actual bigger bait next time:)

It's November 11th, it's my birthday weekend, and I had something super important coming up that Monday so I decide to go fishing.
Started off slow with a super skinny 3# at a local lake
I get a phone call from a buddy to come fish a private farm pond, so we load the boat up and drive a hour out to fish.
We get to the farm pond and My buddy throws me a NIB hinkle shad in the new bone color and says fish it
First cast and I stick my first double of my life and then I proceed to catch 5 more fish most back to back,
These are the best fish of the day, nothing huge but best fishing day ever
