  1. I appreciate you guys posting your fish as you catch them, instead of dumping a bunch of sandbag entries on the last day! It’s awesome checking this thread and seeing just how many giants you guys are catching! And we still have a couple more days!
  2. The KGB rod is the most bait specific rod I’ve ever had in my hand, the H has basically a light action tip to allow trebles to stick. I wouldn’t dare throw any softbait on the H. It didn’t seem optimal for different glides even, that being said, for a Chadshad it’s the best rod ever.
  3. I used it less than 10 casts. Purchased off of the most recent drop. Hinkle has already sold.
  4. A 1lb handicap seems fair for AZ based on what I’ve seen. Florida has so many DD bass a handicap seems unnecessary.
  5. I fished with a buddy who was wearing Oakleys yesterday, every time I’d get a huge follower he wouldn’t be able to see it. I didn’t connect the dots until just now. I had a pair of Amber 580Gs (blew off my face)and Sunrise Silver 580Gs for cloudy/smokey days, they are the best lenses hands down.
  6. Believe it or not he messaged me a couple nights ago, told me he could help me, then never responded again.
  7. There was a boulder in about 18ft, you can see I bring the bait over it with the rod tip, it was the spot on the point that mattered. Once the bait got between the boulder and the shore, she ate.
  8. Everyone sleeps on MC Swimbaits
  9. I got to spend some time throwing this bait after checking them out at the Toxic Shop last week. The bait cranks down to 2-3ft immediately, I wouldn’t call it a wakebait at all. Even on an ultra slow roll it will sit inches below the surface. The swim is great (I have the 3 piece) and it swims at all speeds, it doesn’t blow out or lean on a fast crank, and it kicks well on a slow crawl. The 3 piece isn’t the best walker but I bet the 2 piece does that well. I have a little bit of paint chipping on my bait, but that is to be expected when the bait gets thrashed by fish. Bottom line, the bait gets bit and is readily available, the price is nice too at $75.
  10. LDC White Label 8’ XH Zero complaints, my hookup ration went up tremendously once I switched to this rod. The action just matches the Deps 250 perfectly.
  11. The bait retails for $325 Details on the TrickTrout: 10 inches, 6 ounces, 5 Pieces Extra Slow Sink- tuned at 67 degrees Full Rubber Fins - 2 color options, Smoke or Red. Rainbow Trout Pattern
  12. A memorable fish for me happened this week! My wife’s first swimbait fish!
  13. Apple/Chrome, quoting members can mess with the format and hide text, I have to restart the reply if I make a typo and try to delete anything.
