  1. OK so I boiled the bait for 2 minutss amd no significant difference in the softness... Nothing comparing to the before and after posted. WIll try boiling for 5 minutes...
  2. I also have only good experience from buying from Japan on Ebay. Japanese must be the most honest people. They rank their reels worst than they actually are. Got crazy prices on conquest dc, certate, aldebaran... Only small problem to be fixed was missing two small springs on Aldebaran (which was not advertised). But paid 200USD for an otherwise mint Aldebaran! If lots of good ratings on Ebay, I would not hesitate. Import fees are the exception, not the norm. I think they apply on imports over $250. But only if your package get checked by customs. My feeling is that customs do random selections.
  3. I ordered two shellcrakers last week and they have arrived today. I was out of theoffice so hopefully the right colors. But no problem with BDB in the past.. Good luck
  4. Nice! Thank you! Lakes are frozen until late april so will also have to wait before testing it. Will provide beford and after pictures omce I boil me bait later this week.
  5. I also thought about boiling it. Will sure try it Interested to hear from others that have this bait. Very dissapointing because the bait is very nice.
  6. Happy New Year dear swimbaiters! I bought the 2018 JSJ hitch six recoil swimbait. Bait is very rigid. I have found zero to very subtle tail action, even at high speed. I rapidly lost confidence in the bait due to the lack of action. Is the lack of tail action normal? Can anyone help me understanding how to effectively use this bait? Thank you!
  7. Sweet lures! I do not know any of them. What is the brand and size of the crappie?
  8. Will go with my most productive swimbaits: 5" Rising Son weedless Green back BGC Glide Bream AC Plug Minnow (original wood) Silver black back 7" Westin Mike the Pike 11" (for Pike) Sebile 9" Magic Swimmer Golden Trout (for Pike) Honorary mention to 3.3" and 5" Major League Lures Boom Shad. Amazing small swimbaits. Outfish any other small swimbait I have ever used, including Keitechs.
  9. As with all Megabass lures there is a learning curve, you need to learn how to retrieve it by playing with it. Tricky bait. I use a faster retrieve and usually a steady retrieve. I even troll with great success with it. Mostly my 13 year-old son could crushing them on the 135 but I do not know what he specificaĺy does, neither does he! His favorite glide bait.
  10. Good luck! I have his glide gill and it is an amazing bait
  11. I also use the IRoD Bailey Swim paired with a Lexa 300 power handle. GREAT BUDGET COMBO.
  12. Thank you everyone. Did not know there are JDM versions. Description said 7". Did pull the trigger on it. From Japan on Ebay.
  13. This is a very wise advice. OSA115 is equivalent (if not even better).
  14. Available in Spring Hitch and Light Hitch at Carolina Fishing Tackle.
