  1. Sorry for the late reply AZ but yes this bait has been traded.
  2. Wtf.... it took way longer for that Luna to sell than I thought it would....
  3. Ok I got ya, well that sucks.... just looked through all my 68's to do a swap with you but non have the bottom hook hanger.... I'll keep my eyes open for you though, there may still be a few around.
  4. Took the words right our of my mouth... Too many people used larger than necessary trebles on the bottom and will gill hook fish. Most of the time you're going to be dragging a Hudd on the bottom anyway and you'll obviously just get hung on everything with that bottom treble. I guess guys are going to have to figure out a different way to STE rig their Hudds now...
  5. I purchased two Slob Stoppers at Toxic Day and would like to trade this one for either the Yellow-head Black Bird or Baby Coot color way only, I'm not looking to sell this. This bait is brand new, never used, comes in original packaging with tails and skirts. I'm not sure what he calls this color... questions feel free to ask or PM # to text. Thanks. Matt
  6. The rubber seal is much easier to remove than standard bearings, just use a sharp hook and they pop right out, it's that easy. With traditional bearings you have to remove two retainers and two shields per. It can be a pain in the ass, especially with smaller bearings, but it's the only way to get traditional bearing cleaned and lubed properly.
  7. Carbontex for sure... you won't be disappointed. A common mistake a lot of people make as well is putting regular reel grease on the drag washers, not recommended. This type of grease is not designed for drag washers, but the Cal's universal reel and star drag grease is, and you only need a small amount. Carbontex washers and a dab of Cal's is a big performance upgrade in any reel. Carbontex make washers for all kinds of reels and I'm pretty sure they can cut whatever you may need. When I was doing my friends cardiffs I was buying the carbontex washers for the Calcutta and they were a direct fit. http://www.smoothdrag.com
  8. I would give Rit Dye a shot. It comes in liquid or a powder form and can be found pretty much anywhere, CVS etc. It's used for dying fabrics and all sorts of materials.
  9. I went back to that lake a week later and tried to beat my biggest fish outta there which was that 5.2lb in my original post. While I had that fish on, there was another one probably about 7lbs swimming right along with it... I thought for sure the Hudd would get it done for me that weekend. This was my last chance because my in-laws were movinh so I wouldn't have access any longer.... I couldn't put the Hudd down and only caught 3 fish all weekend to maybe 4lbs.... I ended up beating my record with a 6lber with about 10mins to go.... on a Chatterbait. Surprised the hell outta me.... I wanted that fish on the Hudd so bad! That Hudd bite is something else.... absolutely addicting! Thanks for all the comments everyone!
  10. California, especially if you're planning on coming out in the winter.
  11. Hey all, I'm new to the board and pretty new to the swimbait game. I've got a few glide bait fish under my belt but these are my first fish on a Hudd, finally. I've learned a lot from this site already and look forward to learning a whole lot more. Thanks for looking. Matt
