  1. Oh yeah....check out those Tactical Bassin guys on you tube. I use to use wire & crimps to BB rig , now I've went to rigging BB with wire. Their video on rigging is really good on swimbait rigging
  2. It would be just fine. I wouldn't use the bronze VMC hooks that Butch Brown uses. They'll bend out with that heavy of a rod on a big big fish. The Gamakatsu bronze hooks are stronger. They're other options out there now with in line trebles that are 2X.
  3. Oh yeah...it handles them. Awesome rod for jig hook baits. Might be a little to much of a heavy fast action for some people. I wouldn't suggest using braid, not even floro. I use 20lb - 25lb Gama Polyflex (copoly). Works really well. These rods are beast. I really like all the Leviathan Rods. Really great rods. I've replaced all my other swimbait set ups with Leviathans with the exception of one custom.
  4. Where can replacement tails be found ? Anyone have any experience with these two baits ?
  5. Anyone have the 9" timberflashes & noisy dachs. Wanting to buy, especially the dark trout & wakasaugi colors. Thanks
  6. Triple Trouts get bit everywhere and anytime of the year. Just something about them . If you're wanting a large profile 10" up to 15" check their website. The price is very reasonable. 10" go for $95 on their site.
  7. Excellent baits.....if I didn't already have several I'd buy 'em. Very stable baits.
  8. Thanks for posting that. Us married guys need evidence like that. It's good to show the wife that I'm not alone in my obsession....
  9. You still have the second one down on the left ? Sent pm.
  10. Decoy snaps are awesome. I use them on some glides..others I do not. Just experiment with the different glides. Check out tactical bassin on YouTube. Those two are mad scientists...great guys. You can also read " floro wars " on Tackle Tour. It's eye opening concerning floro lines. Me personally...I have used Gama polyflex in 17, 20 & 25lb test for years. It's a copolymer . I believe it's the best line out there. Never really believed all the floro hype...no doubt has its place and purpose in certain situations. Double San Diego jam knot is the way to go with Gama copoloymer or other non floro line. I wouldn't use that not with floro...a uni knot works well with floro. Physical & molecular structure of floro makes it cut itself when lines that overlap come under strain. And oh yeah....welcome to the "rabbit hole"

  12. The first pic with the 4) mattlures. Would you sale the 4) of them ?
  13. Boy ohh boy.....that's pretty. If someone wanted to jump head first into big baits this is the lot to get it done
  14. A Conquest w/ DRT handle white flat knobs on that rod ......oh it's tempting....please somebody buy it....that set up would "ROCK"
  15. Other than the tail. What's the difference between the two?
  16. I'm with you....sure wish Gail would start these back up again.
  17. These rods are beast.....if I didn't already have 2 I'd buy it. Still tempting.....
