Yep...the xh is sweet for the 250. The xxh is a bit much. It's more of fast action than the xh. The xh let's the 250 size baits hunt. The xxh just seems to powerful , but with a jig, beast hook set up or big hinkle , mother its the bomb.
Keepingitreel.....has it right with the synchronized non disengaging level wind. I use Gama copoly 17, 20 & 25. That line does it well. Never been a big fan of fluorocarbon. Just too finicky.....go on "tackle tour" and read their floro showdown. It's eye opening
I've been using Gama copoly ( poly flex ) for a long time. Good strong line, super clear & tough. Cast great. Doesn't seem to stretch much. Big swimbaits to flipping jigs heavy cover or punching mats and anything else. The only thing I don't use it for is frogs across mats.
