Not sure with it having that paddle tail (maybe a super soft bait like a Jenko Booty Shaker that would kick at slower speeds? And, if it breaks off that would get pretty costly which happens quite a bit if you use a C-rig a lot. I have used magnum flukes/caffeine shads, 9" Slug Go's, STC Sniper shads, and big Rogues & Redfin jerkbaits/minnow plugs on a C-Rig with good results (Storm Thin Fins were the real killers but not a "big bait"). Use a longer leader tho bc of how much glide those bigger baits produce vs a standard 6" lizard like most are used to using and allows for more action on the jerkbaits. Learned these set ups down on the KY Lake ledges before and during their heyday, crazy times in 90s and early 2000s before it gained national attention. Have used them since in all types of lakes and scenarios but this post has definitely go me thinking with all of the new bait options and equipment out there now.......hhhmmmmm
