Swimbaiting pnw
Does anyone know if the new conquests (18 and newer) have side dials, some people say only the 2016s have them and others say the newest ones do, someone help me please! Bass_blaster
They do not have the external dial like the 2015 models. The side plate is easy to pen for adjustment though. Morph808
chefchris
They do not. I own 6 of them, I only adjust my brakes once and call it a day and I like the cleaner look of the no side dial Morph808 and Jim137a
Whammy
I just send it in stock mode and then curse Shimano when I fire a bait off into Mordor Adrian L., Jonnybass64, Jace D and 4 others 2

Edited October 18, 2022 by LowSpinner I even proof read it Whammy, Habitual_lip_ripper, ikaika and 1 other 2
Michael Ray Looney
The 18's also have synchronized level winds. I much prefer them for bigger heavy baits. Eliminates the sharp line angles on the cast going thru the level wind. Just alot smoother cast. The 15's with the side dial ( svs brakes ) has the disengaging level wind. That's always been a issue with wider spools like a 400 conquest. Morph808 and chefchris
