CG_Fishes
As mentioned in my post in the got 'em section, I caught my 3 biggest Chain Pickerel ever during a bass tournament this weekend. The fish were postspawn sitting in 1-3' of water and FIRED up. In the right spots going 2 or 3 casts without a pickerel was uncommon, with all fish being 20" or bigger. My 3 biggest (in order of pictures) were 26", 25" and 25". Although often a nuisance for bass fisherman, and slightly annoying yesterday, I love these fish with all my heart. And am planning a trip back in the kayak later this week to capitalize on this bite. I did have one fish slice my finger up pretty bad, hence the electrical tape and tissue wrapped around it you can see in the first picture, tit for tat I guess. lux036
Looks like some good top water fishing weather. A little chop and some fun aggressive fish to catch.
