You can buy the springs at home depot but they come in a box of different sized springs. The box of springs cost about $5.00. If part of the spring is still lodged in the bait, just drill it out, fill it with epoxy and insert the spring. Make sure to hold the spring till it hardens a little bit so the spring would set straight.

 

I have an extra spring I can send to you if you PM me your address. Butch has been so kind to me so I just want to pass on the kindness.

A Spring and Epoxy putty should be easy to do to fix it right. Both things can be found at lowes, home depot etc.. If not, easy way out is get a brand new tail and glue it onto the wood itself. The trick is finding the right glue to do it... :shock:
