Well missed 5-6 fish with one being an 8lber that got off 3ft shy of the net...heartbreaker. Did get one 6lber. Probably had about 10follows. Went back out after tourney and stuck a 5lber. Then snapped off the bait...luckily it landed only 5feet from boat so in i jumped and for some odd reason as i jumped i for 150.00 dollar bait i threw the 400.00 rod/reel 15feet from the boat. So after swimming in the water and not able to see the bait i manage to get my rod that was fricken floating.... I dont even remember throwing the rod in the water....btw dobyns 908 with a lexa 300 floats. So climb back on boat soaking on coldest day of the year go figure...talk with jon for about 15min on how i might be able to get bait...go to step on front deck and trip....like shoes are tied...look down and bait is hung on both pant legs...lmao oh so sweet... What a day what a day...some nice fish caught and missed fish that would have made us some money but it could have been so much worse.
