azswimb8ter
Hey fishnart I painted this a couple days ago and the hard plastic stuck really well, but I am trying to think how to paint the tail it looks good but it is still tacky and comes off real easy. Any suggestions for painting don't plastic would be appreciated. Thank you!
azswimb8ter
sorry I meant soft Plastic. Also I am curious if anyone knows what kind of paint is used on a slide swimmer?
fishnart
Hey buddy, I haven't figured out how to paint the tail either. I've checked around and some have suggested some dye's etc. I went onto Tackle Warehouse and they have complete replacement tails in Rainbow Trout and clear (I think) so if all of yours are Rainbow then check there. I belong to Tackleunderground, which is a site for people who make their own baits, you might want to check around in there?? Good luck and let me know if you find something solid.... Thanks, sorry I couldn't help you more

Bassindaily
Hey fishnart I painted this a couple days ago and the hard plastic stuck really well, but I am trying to think how to paint the tail it looks good but it is still tacky and comes off real easy. Any suggestions for painting don't plastic would be appreciated. Thank you! I have painted slides but never spros. I always use urethane based paints (high quality auto paints) , ive noticed with flexible materials that u have to clean them extremely well I wash them with grease removing soap and then air dry them then wipe them off with alcohol I have not painted a spro so I'm not sure if that works with the material they use
Mauknasty
Would it be possible to contact spro and ask what they use for the tail?....
