Hrenthegreat
Hey guys, as we get into the cooler nights and daytime temps continue to drop, does it affect what time you target bass crawling baits on the bottom? First year I’m going to try and give it an honest try but I wanted to see if there was any sense being out before the sun heats everything up or out past when the mercury starts plummeting again. Do you guys see better success middle of the day? Near the end when it’s had as much sun as possible? Does it matter at all? Help, as always, is appreciated! RWB
There might be a bite window early once colder temperatures prevail but the middle of the day should offer a longer bite especially if the sun is warming the bank. Jon P
At the crack of dawn in fall and early spring you can find fish holding crazy shallow. One of my favorite spots has a big rock pile retaining wall that fish stack up on in the colder temps since it's the first thing that the sun hits in the morning. Once they've moved off the banks I'll fish points and rockpiles until it starts getting cold again. DrewManFishing
