Palu_Au
Hello All, I bought a brand new Baitsmith Magnum in Trout pattern off of a board member on "The Black Market" and was told that it is a standard sink. I threw it yesterday for the first time and it does NOT sink. It floats kind of funny. It doesn't float horizontal. The floats tail high with a 45 degree angle. Anybody ever have this issue with the Baitsmith Magnum's? Anybody know how I can solve this or how I can get a hold of Baitsmith and see about getting a replacement? nol
I've had it happen, it's very rare but i tend to like those ones better, stuff a nail weight in the tail and you have a ROF 2 baitsmith mag, they get smashed. Hope this helps
JohnMarino
You my friend, have a magic bait. Use tungsten nail weights and adjust as needed to get it horizontal and It will be your best baitsmith you have probably owned.

Like said above, a nail weight in the right place and you will have a magical bait.
Palu_Au
The seller stepped up and offered to refund me the money if I sent the bait back. Really stand up because on other forum most would say I was s**t out of luck. Good people on this forum. I've been offered to swap out the bait by others. The nail weight idea sounds interesting. Thank you all for your input and help. Tony
