Unexpected Cold front the temperature started off at 35 degrees with hard North wind. I threw everything I had with me at them and not a bite on the hard baits. So I figured break out the Hudd weedless. Had nothing to left to use, I was just about to call it a day.... No bites on any speed of retreive so just started fishing it like a worm. Hopping it about 2ft off the bottom and then just letting it sit there. While it was on the bottom just sitting there it would get a unmistakable "THUMP" Missed 3 fish before I finally hooked up. When the bass hit you knew it. Ended up with 5 nothing huge but the Hudd saved the day. After it was all said and done I missed as many as was caught.
