slideaction
first attempt at a carved master for mold. the scales really kicked my butt and in some what of a love hate situation with it, but i can always sand it down. let me know what you think. enjoy. thanks
Rogervang
That looks food man. Sanding off the skills might take off too much wood.
JTSwimbaitMan
What color you thinking for paint? The scales look great for a carp pattern.
slideaction
Thanks for the comments, Was thinking of using it as an all round type when get to casting, but mainly trout carp and shad
justing66
For the next carving you do that you plan on molding (and pouring with resin I assume) I would suggest that you leave the master without a joint. Once you pour them in resin, you can experiment with cutting a joint in different places and figure out what works best. If you mess up, just pour another solid master. Once you have the joint in a place you like, then make a mold of the two separate pieces. Just my 2 cents.

slideaction
Thanks for the comments, Took it out today. Did pretty good but not happy with it, i think i can do better, might be a pouring thing since i miscalculated it.
slideaction
got the setting right and took it out for test drive. i was too excited and broke off the pin before i adjusted to preferred glide, but oh wells. it swam more like a wake bait or very tight glide. however, i was super stoked when i saw this on the review

slideaction
Thanks gu ys, been working on this one for awhile and might consider doing two versions one with a tight crank/wake like action and the other a glider
