Itsafullmonty
Thinking of buying a second setup so i don't have to keep changing baits so much. Not looking to spend a lot on the rod. I was looking at the daiwa dx swimbait rod and was wondering if anyone had reviews on it before I buy. Worst case sceniro I'll buy another guide select since mine hasent failed me yet. basstastic27
Can't beat the DX for the price. I like it a lot better than the guide select. Reel, Lexa 300. You'll find the search button is a great tool. The Noob thread also
Itsafullmonty
I have a 300 and most likly buy another. Was also looking at the super duty to get more of a low profile reel. I Don't throw anything over 5oz so I don't need a super expensive mother throwing rod. Hudds slammers s swimmers deps 175s and other glides is what I stick too. I like my guide select just looking to try other things with out breaking the bank
Sciaramitaro
I would back Okuma any day of the week, I have the 3/4-3, the 1-6 and the 2-10 and you cannot beat the price or the warranty that Okuma offers. Although there are better rods out there, but for the price you cannot beat it!

Tackle warehouse was good with customer service so I don't know about okuma customer service.
Jerrystowing
If you use a left hand reel ive got a combo Okuma C3-40x 2~8 with a Curado
Doby25
You can't go wrong with the I-rod genisis 2 rods. Very affordable, iv had zero problems with all of mine and have put them through the gauntlet. Matt Newman stands behind his product and will take good care of you if something goes wrong with your rod.
