Pats baits at night

So I found out last night that there was a Facebook contest going for a No-Name rat bait. I immediately hopped in the boat in search of an entry fish. With clear skies and a nearly full moon, I was not feeling too confident.

I'd seen a post on the Facebook a night earlier about cranking a Pats bait at night. The guy did real well, so I figured I'd have a go with mine. Never realized how well it would work.

On my first 5 casts, I landed 4 fish!

First cast, and the current first place (I think) in the contest. 5lbs, 9oz....

Second cast to the same area yielded a 4lb 9oz!

Third cast was a small one and the fourth cast had no takers. Then, on the fifth cast to the same spot, a 4lb, 5oz.....

That was a nice group of bass you came upon Mark. That's the smaller Pats you have there right ? I have a couple of those, but, have not thrown them at night yet. Gonna have to give em a whirl. Were you crawling them on the surface, or, cranking down ?

That's an OG perch. About 7" or so...
