Jay Posted July 4, 2015 Report Share Posted July 4, 2015 Is anyone on here up in CDA, just moved up here from Idaho Falls and was wondering what are the best spots on the lake and or in the area. Don't have a boat yet, hopefully I can get one soon but I know we have some largies, smallies and pike up here. Dying to do some bass fishing again IF sucks for that. DanD-Jigs Posted July 7, 2015 Report Share Posted July 7, 2015 I lived in Coeur d'Alene for about 3 years; granted, that was about 8 years ago, so I don't know how helpful this will be, but my best fishing was always away from the main lake (Lake CdA). I had my best bites on Fernan which is an offshoot of the big lake but gets way less pressure, Hayden lake was always good to me which is north about 20 minutes and then there is a chain of lakes where I always did my best for pike with the best one of the bunch being Killarney lake. If you would like, I still have a few friends who live up there and both like to fish (don't think they are swimbaiters) but maybe if I put you guys in touch they could show you around.
