NorCalBass Posted January 18, 2016 Report Share Posted January 18, 2016 First time out with swimbaits in a couple months.. I've gotten pretty addicted to the whole fly fishing thing haha. Missed one that felt and looked really nice based on the scale it left on my stinger and caught a dink. Both hit right after ripping the bait through grass. Maybe one of you guys can help me understand this as it's happened to me twice now where a fish left a bite mark on the head of the bait, but somehow in the process of setting the hook it got snagged with the stinger hook. hookedup Posted January 18, 2016 Report Share Posted January 18, 2016 Are you just feeling a tap? They are probably just picking the bait up and spitting it out right away.
