FishEastCarolina
I have watched the TB best way you have never heard of rigging video and I wanted to know if anyone here has done this rig yet? He mentions two different wire tests in the video however never says anything along the lines of "I never use less than" . I would like to use the smallest that is still effective. What pound wires have you guys tried? Just wanting to buy wire once and not experiment with diff sizes. Thanks for any help SU

hookedonbigbaits
When saltwater fishing I would use 70 or so pound wire for all my trolling rigs. Same concept and very similar to the haywire twist.
zanwhite
I use 90 lb and did have to re-do my rig after the 3rd fish on the bait, it kinked the wire and I didn't like my chances with it anymore... I'll get a little thicker next time after I run out
