OkeechobeeJC Posted January 24, 2017 Report Share Posted January 24, 2017 Just wanted to show you the color differences between the Hinkle Shad in Golden Shiner and the newly released Hinkle Shad in Carp color.Someone had mentioned that they were somewhat similar but you'll be surprised how different they look side by side. pizz Posted January 26, 2017 Report Share Posted January 26, 2017 the "smoke shiner" was a Bass A Thon only release and is a great color i think. I can replicate the color anytime if need be since i mixed plenty of paint. not everyone takes good photos of the baits so i can see how the Carp and Shiner can be deemed similar but the only color that is the same on either bait is the belly. plus the carp features a flat / eggshell finish vs a gloss finish on the shiner.
