Top Ramen Posted June 27, 2017 Report Share Posted June 27, 2017 I'm a project-oriented person. In fact, I have to have at least one project going or I start to go crazy. It can be almost anything -- building a toy, building a car, building a company, whatever. I recently finished up a long consulting contract at Apple and was kind of idle. I don't like idle. My friends' son (Ashe) had his first birthday coming up so I decided to make him something cool to occupy some of my time. He is just starting to stand and walk around a bit so I tried to find something suitable for that age. I got a Tiny Tykes Cozy Coupe at a garage sale for $7. This is what it looked like when I started: My friends (his parents) are super nerds. They love board games, anime, computer games, sci-fi, the whole nerd universe. They especially love stuff like Fury Road with it's over-the-top dystopian sets and props. So, that's the theme I chose for the project. This is the result.
