Iv’e been fishing this res for about 5 years, about 10-12 times a year and I still havent found the sweet spot or the go to lure. My best there is about 5#. I know they got some big ones there but I sure havent found them. Does anybody have any experience there and have any tips on “where and what†? I have caught a few 4-5#ers and every one was on a different lure, slammer, bullgill, osprey, and some smaller lures, and different spots on the lake. Its pretty much the only place I fish, I dont have a boat but I do have a transit mount trolling motor and battery, I just rent the aluminum boat at the res. Anyway I hope everyone had a great New Year!

I also live close to there only been a handful of times seemed crowded every time I went though. Would be interested as well as to what people have to say about it!

its a tough res to fish, there are few if not any spots from shore where you can consistently catch fish. I rent a boat there like once a week, and the swimbait bite there is usually pretty tough. I know of 2 offshore piles that I have success fishing and a couple of stretches of shoreline, if you have anymore questions shoot me a text at 925 222 1813, maybe we could find a day to rent a boat and fish!

Haven't been there in a while. It's super tough to fish but sometimes you get lucky. These vids are all a couple years old.
