Life_ofjoe
I wanted to go to SU before buying a new swimbait rod. I’m looking for a good rod that someone is willing to part with for 120$<. Looking for something I can throw about 2-8 ounces. Text me what you got at 7137423369
bassbass
Look at the Daiwa swimbait rods. northeast_trev
Skibass
I second the Daiwa Dxsb Heavy for 2-8oz baits! Awesome rod for the money and loads perfectly.
Mossypumpkin
But being realistic...it’s NOT going to throw 8oz unless you get a very heavy model. And then it’s not going to throw 2oz
Dvdprl
Just grab a dobyns 806 fury rod. It’s good to about 5.5oz then starts pushing it. But it’ll be hard to find exactly what you’re looking for. Edited January 18, 2018 by Dvdprl Deltaman
bassbass
Not sure there is a rod that will be true to a 2oz - 8oz bait. That's way we don't have one rod

Mossypumpkin
My Dobyns 867 and Moam maniac will both do 2-8 pretty comfortably
Top Ramen
Yeah, an 867 will probably do it but it's also the most versatile swimbait rod I've ever used. Finding a $120 rod that can do it is unlikely. Mossypumpkin
Life_ofjoe
Thanks to SU, I’m gonna get a Spiralite. I’m gonna use baits in the 2 to 6 ounces range and use my extra heavy 4-11 ounce rod for my hard baits. Top Ramen
