asavamedhi
So it finally happens today. I casted my battle shad and it came back slightly held onto by the hook. Nose ripped out. What do you guys do to repair it? Fill it with mend it? I grabbed a new bait before heading out to the lake and forgot to put a toothpick like my other ones. So now I have to figure out something. Suggestions? Thanks
lux036
Cut a chuck of a worm off. Mend it in the whole. Let is cure overnight. Then it should be good as new. You can also blow torch the nose a little bit just to make sure the plastic has fully bonded at the nose. I believe Manny Chee and maybe WCZ has some tips about this on youtube also. asavamedhi and danthefisherman
